Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by enforcing security procedures and campus policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally following campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities per site procedures.

Pay Rate: $18.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
