Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and access points.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials and observing visitor and vehicle activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate contacts.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols and incidents per site procedures.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. • Tue: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Wed: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Thur: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Fri: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Sun: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and vehicle activity, and following site-specific entry and exit procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
