Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Delta, UT to safeguard clients across multiple industries at a utility site. You will perform routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service while following site procedures.

This Full Time role offers a pay rate of $21.60 per hour and a schedule that includes daytime and evenings across several days per week. A Guard Card is preferred, with a background check and drug screen required.

Qualifications

• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a utility operations location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, parking areas, and restricted zones, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, deliveries, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
