Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Military Police in Shreveport, LA to protect clients across industries, including chemical/petrochemical sites. You will patrol, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service.

Bring law enforcement or military police experience; 2+ years preferred. This role offers weekly pay, full-time schedule, and opportunities for growth within a caring company culture.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, operational areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as assigned, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and document activities as required.
• Observe and report potential hazards, unauthorized persons, damaged property, and other security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.
