Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, policy concerns, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and document entry, exit, and visitor information.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and promptly report security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.

As a Security Officer Patrol in Redlands, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Using computer or tablet tools, you will communicate clearly and contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
