Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Patrol in Butler, PA. You will safeguard clients across healthcare sites, maintain a visible presence, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $17.05 / Hour. Time blocks span DayTime Wed 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Thu 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Fri 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Sat 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

What You’ll Do:

• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as needed, and report unusual conditions or incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
