Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required; compliance with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter zones to deter incidents.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation per site requirements.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Monitoring in Middletown, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $22.29 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Tue: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate reports, activity logs, and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
