Job summary

Allied Universal in Merrimack, NH is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Armed Field Patrol to safeguard clients across aerospace/defense locations. You’ll monitor access, conduct armed patrols, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service.

This role offers flexible part-time scheduling with shifts Fri–Sun and the pay rate of $28.70 per hour, plus access to our Shift-claim platform, training, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of restricted areas and controlled materials.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, access-control activities, and other security-related observations.
