As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol Driver Security Clearance in Portsmouth, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier aerospace and defense location. Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, communicate observations, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting security-related concerns.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, controlled areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.


• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site-specific requirements, escalating unauthorized access attempts and/or suspicious activity.


• Observe and report hazards, policy violations, and unusual conditions involving sensitive facilities, equipment, and materials.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.


• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
