Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to identify unusual activity or security concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as required.
• Complete clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs as required.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support security-related operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the logistics and distribution location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as required.
• Complete clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
