Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Weekends in Tempe, AZ. This part-time role involves monitoring, patrolling, and providing excellent customer service to staff and visitors at a healthcare facility.

You will work weekend shifts with a pay rate of $24.00 per hour, ensuring safety and compliance with site procedures. A background check and drug screen are required, with licensing where applicable.

Qualifications

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the healthcare facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

• Sat: 06:30 AM - 05:30 PM
• Sun: 06:30 AM - 05:30 PM
