Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and contractors while following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the healthcare location, including interiors, parking areas, entrances and perimeters.
• Respond to incidents and medical-related concerns in a calm, professional manner following site procedures.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, or violations to site contacts and leadership.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports and other required documentation per site procedures.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will drive throughout assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and report security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
