Pay Rate: $17.26 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site procedures while maintaining accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Support a professional, welcoming environment while communicating observed conditions, policy concerns, and security-related incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
