Job summary

Allied Universal in Oldsmar, FL is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed) with active DoD Top Secret clearance. You will protect people and property at aerospace/defense facilities, perform access control, respond to incidents, and document shifts.

This role offers flexible scheduling, paid training, and opportunities to grow within a national security leader. A valid driver’s license is required, along with background checks and drug screening as per policy.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:
