As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will communicate clearly with visitors and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $19.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Help maintain an orderly retail environment by monitoring access points, observing activity, and reporting hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
