Allied Universal in Johnson City, TN is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer, Vehicle Patrol Driver. You will provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and staff while patrolling and maintaining a visible security presence at the retail property.

This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. The schedule includes Wed 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM and Thu 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM, with a pay rate of $16.23 per hour.

This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, exterior walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and customer inquiries while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
