Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, yards, docks, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location by observing personnel, visitors, drivers, and deliveries.
• Document observations and incidents, communicating relevant information to site contacts and leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report observations with integrity. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, vehicle traffic concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, docks, access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing personnel, visitors, drivers, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
