Job summary

Allied Universal in Mt Pleasant, WI is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to protect clients across various facilities. You will patrol, monitor access points, provide professional customer service, and report security concerns in line with site policies.

This role offers part-time hours with a schedule including weekend shifts and evenings. A high school diploma and ability to pass background checks are required; a driver’s license is only for driving positions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious conditions, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with site and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
