Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Monitor restricted access points, verify credentials, and document activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and follow emergency protocols.
• Prepare clear reports on patrols, incidents and maintenance needs.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted operational areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding patrol observations, incidents, access concerns, and/or maintenance issues requiring follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
