As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, visitors, and team members. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail sales areas, common spaces, entrances, exits, loading areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, prohibited conduct, access concerns, and potential hazards, and report observations according to location procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
