Job summary

Allied Universal, Westerville, OH, is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Support to monitor and safeguard clients, primarily at a financial institution. You will patrol, deter incidents, provide customer service, and communicate professionally with staff and visitors.

This role offers flexible day and night shifts, CPR preferred, background check and drug screen as required by law, and opportunities to grow within a trusted security team.

Qualifications

• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking offices, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives as required.
