Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.86 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 05:30 PM - 04:00 AM
• Sun: 05:30 PM - 04:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout assigned public facilities, surrounding grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of security-related, military, or law enforcement experience, or an associate’s degree in criminal justice.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
