As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a dynamic technology location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, report observations, respond professionally to situations, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the technology facility, offices, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and daily activity documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Communicate observations and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision, and assist with access control and other security-related support needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
