Allied Universal in Columbus, OH is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) to patrol offices, production areas, entrances, and perimeters while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Licensing requirements may apply; driver license required for driving positions.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, guests, and media personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, production areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials to maintain orderly entry and exit processes.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; document observations and notify appropriate contacts.
• Complete detailed activity, incident, and patrol reports as required by the site.

As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, guests, and media personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a media and technology location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, production areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and help maintain orderly entry and exit processes.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
