Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the data center campus.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials per site procedures and report unusual activity.
• Document patrol observations and policy deviations accurately and promptly.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the data center campus, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and policy deviations accurately and promptly, while maintaining a professional presence in a high-availability technology environment.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
