Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed Patrol Driver) in Columbus, OH. You will monitor data-center client sites, provide customer service, perform unarmed patrols, and maintain a visible security presence while following site procedures and safety protocols.

You must have a valid driver’s license, be 18+, and comfortable using a computer or tablet. Scheduling includes Daytime and Sunday shifts with competitive pay of $21.79 per hour.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor and report security-related conditions, access-control concerns, alarms, and incidents in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Help maintain a professional, controlled environment by verifying authorized access, directing visitors and deliveries, and documenting daily activities and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
