Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security services provider, seeks a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Williamsburg, VA. You will guard guests, conduct patrols, and maintain a welcoming environment at a hospitality location, while providing professional customer service and reporting as required.

This role supports flexible scheduling (Wed/Fri evenings) and uses our shift-claim platform to manage opportunities. Join a caring, agile team focused on integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations calmly, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, public spaces, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and location procedures.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:
