Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Driver Route Patrol in Williamsburg, VA. In this role, you will provide security and guest service across hotel and resort environments, performing routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, availability for day/night shifts on weekends, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks will be conducted per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screening is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of resort buildings, guest areas, parking areas, amenities, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and other security-related support needs throughout the location.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
