Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Response in Honolulu, HI to safeguard clients across utilities and more. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver excellent customer service.

This part-time role offers flexible scheduling via the Claim a Shift platform, with Fri 2-10 PM and Sat 2-10 PM shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and the public by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and critical infrastructure locations, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document entries, exits, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and assist with emergency procedures as directed.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
