Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Unarmed Area Patrol Driver for our Plano, TX location. You will provide security to a technology-focused site, perform patrols, monitor access, and maintain a visible, customer-service oriented presence.

The role emphasizes professionalism, reliability, and teamwork while supporting safety, access control, and incident response in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling and a shift-based work pattern are available.

Formación

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-control irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating matters according to site-specific protocols.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications environment.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
