Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Detroit, MI. You will provide customer service to patients, visitors and staff, conduct routine unarmed patrols, and respond to security incidents while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location and surrounding areas.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and disturbances calmly and professionally.
• Observe and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and traffic flow to maintain an orderly environment.

You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.35 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 06:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Wed 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM
• Thur 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Observe and report unusual activities, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and traffic flow while helping to maintain an orderly healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
