Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report suspicious activity and facility concerns.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation per site procedures.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.35 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM
• Fri: 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and facility concerns.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
