Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Documentation in Albuquerque, NM. You will provide security and customer service, perform site-specific procedures and assist with emergency response as needed.

Qualifications

• Guard Card or license preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, suspected theft, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security‑related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and policy violations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Pay Rate: $20.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Wed 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Thur 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, suspected theft, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
