Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly, including medical emergencies and access concerns.
• Conduct regular patrols of the healthcare location and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, direct visitors, and report suspicious activity.
• Complete activity logs and incident reports per site procedures.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and provide courteous assistance to patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disturbances, access concerns, and/or facility-related issues.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, while reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help maintain an orderly environment by verifying credentials, directing visitors, and reporting unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or applicable license is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
