Allied Universal in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver (Part Time) to safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and vendors at a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while following site procedures.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required per policy.

• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors following site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols inside/outside the healthcare location, including entrances and parking areas.
• Respond calmly to incidents using established emergency procedures.
• Monitor access points and report hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols and incidents and communicate with leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 10:45 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 10:45 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and healthcare facility policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, potential hazards, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
