As a Security Officer at a residential community, you will monitor access points, verify visitors, and conduct routine patrols to help maintain a welcoming, secure environment for residents and guests. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.64 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor authorization, manage guest access, and maintain accurate access logs in accordance with community procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate observations, access issues, and incidents through timely reports and shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
