Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer for Los Angeles, CA. You will provide customer service to guests and employees while conducting routine patrols of parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

In this role, you will monitor entrances and vehicle flows, respond to incidents calmly, and coordinate with site staff and responders. A HS diploma is required, along with background checks, a drug screen, and state licensing as

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, employees, and transportation facility visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of parking areas, vehicle storage areas, access points, shuttle loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and vehicle traffic flow; report suspicious activity, parking-related concerns, hazards, and maintenance issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and coordination with site staff and emergency responders in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements
