As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• DayTime Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM


• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.


• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and maintain appropriate records in accordance with site procedures.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of building common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Assist with access control, directions, and general visitor support while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
