Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Support) in Alburtis, PA. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

CPR Certification:

• Candidates must obtain CPR certification prior to employment.
• Allied Universal offers paid training for CPR certification (B205) to ensure that all employees are equipped with the necessary skills to respond to emergencies.
• Proof of certification must be submitted before the commencement of employment.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
