Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

• Proof of High School Diploma or GED (C137):Candidates are required to provide valid documentation verifying the completion of their high school education or equivalent. Acceptable forms of proof include a high school diploma, GED certificate, or official transcripts.

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems or badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes basic software applications, email communication, and data entry.

• Customer Service Experience (B219):Candidates should possess relevant customer service experience, showcasing their ability to interact positively with clients and resolve issues effectively.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology‑related location while carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access activity, verify visitor credentials as directed, and report access‑control concerns or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site procedures and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security‑related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
