Job summary

Allied Universal in Alburtis, PA is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed Exterior Patrol) to protect clients across tech-focused locations. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access, and provide courteous customer service while maintaining a visible safety presence.

Schedule is DayTime Saturday and Sunday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. CPR certification is preferred; paid training provided. Must be 18+, HS diploma or equivalent, and able to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused business location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintaining accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity records, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

a. CPR Certification (B205)

• Candidates must obtain CPR certification (B205) as a condition of employment.
• The certification must be valid and recognized by a reputable organization.

b. Paid Training Provided by Allied Universal

• Allied Universal will provide paid training for CPR certification
• Details regarding the training schedule, location, and duration will be communicated to candidates upon acceptance of a job offer.
