Responsibilities

• Monitor access points and verify authorization according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as directed.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and incident documentation per Allied Universal rules.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of chemical and petrochemical facility buildings, grounds, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, maintain visitor and vehicle activity records, and report access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and request additional assistance as directed by site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation while following applicable site rules and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
