As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for members, visitors, and employees. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.43 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, members, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and promptly communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
