Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer for a roving patrol at a retail distribution location in Greencastle, PA. You will provide customer service, monitor access, and respond to incidents, maintaining a visible, calm presence to deter security risks.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, vendors, and drivers according to site procedures.
• Report hazards, suspicious activity, damaged property, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Pay Rate: $18.18 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, vendors, and drivers in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Report hazards, suspicious activity, damaged property, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
