Allied Universal in Hampton, VA is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Care. You will provide security and customer service at a technology-focused site, performing routine patrols, enforcing access control, and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed, and maintain awareness of visitor and contractor movement throughout the location.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
