Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Care in Ashburn, VA. This role offers flexible part-time hours with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $23.36 per hour. The schedule is DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, with a six-month anchor shift commitment at a designated site. Prior CPR/First Aid and access control experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a guard card or license preferred, CPR/First Aid certification preferred, CPR certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; background check and drug screen as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document as required.
• Report security concerns, maintenance issues, hazards, and suspicious activity to site management.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Care in Ashburn, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.36 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and deliveries in accordance with site policies; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required documentation.
• Report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to site management and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
