Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer for a Streetsboro, OH logistics location. You will patrol, deter incidents, and maintain a visible security presence while delivering excellent customer service and clear communications.

Position offers part-time hours with day and overnight shifts. Training and opportunities for growth are provided, along with access to our Perks Program and retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor/driver authorization per site procedures.
• Document patrols and incidents through reports and communicate information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery driver authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity through accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
