Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Columbus, OH to protect clients across Government, Commercial Real Estate, and other sectors. You will patrol facilities, support access control, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while building a flexible schedule.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, transit patrons, and government facility personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking facilities, transit areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity; report unusual conditions and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow post orders, contacting emergency services as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs and shift documentation per Allied Universal requirements.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government and commercial real estate locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.67 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, transit patrons, and government facility personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, transit-access areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout commercial real estate and public-facing government locations; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and contacting emergency services and/or site contacts as appropriate.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
