Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Honolulu, HI. Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions only.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, hotel policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate hotel personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, public spaces, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned hotel locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting a welcoming environment for guests and staff.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports related to incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
