Job summary

Allied Universal in Honolulu, HI is seeking a part-time Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Property Protection to help safeguard clients across tech/media/telecom locations. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access, and provide friendly, professional customer service to employees and visitors.

As an unarmed officer, you will maintain a visible presence, respond to incidents following site procedures, and document activities in logs.

Qualifications

• Must have a state, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding patrol observations and security concerns.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 01:30 PM - 09:30 PM
• Sun: 12:30 PM - 08:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
